PMB Haleem Drive-Through Distribution Successfully Serves Community

Radio Al Ansaar Pietermaritzburg hosted a highly successful Haleem Drive-Through Distribution this past Saturday, bringing warmth, dignity and nourishment to the local community.

The distribution commenced promptly at 1:30 PM, with vehicles arriving in a steady and orderly queue. A structured drive-through system allowed beneficiaries to remain comfortably seated in their vehicles while volunteers moved efficiently from car to car to receive containers and return them filled.

Each vehicle received a complete package consisting of freshly prepared haleem, naan, dates and bottled water, along with additional items distributed on the day. The controlled serving process ensured that families, elderly recipients and those fasting were assisted safely and respectfully.

The PMB team, spearheaded by Hudaa Ahmed, led the coordination and execution of the initiative, ensuring smooth traffic flow, fair portioning and a professional, well-managed environment throughout the afternoon.

Special appreciation is extended to the Outreach Department for their valued support and collaboration, as well as to the sponsor, Capital group, whose generous contribution made the scale and impact of the distribution possible.

The atmosphere reflected unity, gratitude and community spirit – a reminder of the power of organised compassion during the blessed month.

Radio Al Ansaar PMB confirms that the Haleem Drive-Through Distribution will continue every Saturday throughout Ramadan, further reinforcing its commitment to serving Pietermaritzburg with excellence and care.
