The Al Ansaar Foundation proudly commenced its annual Winter Warmth Drive on May 2, 2024. This initiative, which seeks to provide essential warmth and comfort during the cold months, has already made a significant impact in our community. To date, hundreds of blankets and other winter essentials have been distributed to those in need.
Our primary focus during this drive has been our elderly . Recognizing their vulnerability to the harsh winter conditions, we have prioritized distributing winter warmth items to elders in various locations. This has taken us to areas such as Tongaat, Verulam, and numerous old age homes within our community. Our commitment to ensuring the well-being of our seniors remains steadfast, and we are dedicated to reaching as many as possible.
However, our efforts do not stop here. The Winter Warmth Drive is far from over. We have plans to extend our reach to the elders in the Phoenix area, ensuring that no one is left behind. Additionally, we aim to visit our elders who are ill and currently residing in hospitals, bringing them the warmth and comfort they need during their recovery.
