In a remarkable display of community spirit and generosity, the Al Ansaar Outreach Foundation in partnership with Muslims for Humanity, distributed 10,000 meals in and around Overport and surrounding on the Day of Ashura. This initiative, aimed at providing sustenance and support to the less fortunate, stands as a testament to the power of collective effort and compassion.
The scale of this year’s food distribution was unprecedented. With meticulous planning and the tireless efforts of volunteers, the Al Ansaar Outreach Department managed to prepare and distribute 10,000 meals. These meals were not only distributed in Overport but also reached surrounding areas, ensuring that as many people as possible could benefit from this initiative.
