Urgent Appeal for Zakaah Contributions to Assist Deserving Families and Elders in Overport and surrounding

Since the unfortunate unrest that took place in KwaZulu-Natal, our community has witnessed a surge in hardship. Many elders, widows, and individuals who lost their jobs have been severely impacted, struggling to make ends meet. As a community organization and radio station located in Overport, we felt it was our duty to step in and offer immediate support to our neighbours.

In response to this crisis, we have been providing monthly assistance to deserving elders, widows, and families. The funds used to support these individuals are sourced from Zakaah contributions, Our recipients are carefully selected through a vetting process carried out by a qualified Mufti and Moulana. This ensures that we are distributing Zakaah to the most deserving individuals, in line with Islamic principles. However, due to the increasing number of people in need and the depletion of our resources, we are facing an urgent shortage of Zakaah funds.

To continue our efforts in helping these vulnerable members of our community, we are making a heartfelt appeal for immediate Zakaah contributions. Your support will provide essential aid to those who have lost their livelihoods, helping them to regain stability and dignity.

Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in the lives of those struggling. We urge you to donate your Zakaah as soon as possible so that we can continue to assist these deserving individuals. Together, we can uplift our community and provide hope to those in dire need.

Please act now and make your Zakaah contribution today. Your generosity is not only a source of relief for those suffering but also an investment in the well-being and strength of our community.
