On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the Al-Ansaar Foundation and its dedicated team once again set out to serve those in need through our Sunday Feeding – Week 2 Distribution. It was a day filled with gratitude, connection, and the spirit of giving, as we reached communities across Phoenix, Malukazi, Folweni, Merebank, and Kwa Makutha.
With the help of our generous donors and volunteers, we were able to distribute:
55 Degs of freshly prepared food – ensuring warm, nourishing meals for families
Blankets – bringing comfort and warmth to those facing the cold
Hampers – easing the burden of food insecurity
Wheelchairs for two elderly members – restoring dignity and mobility
Boxes of dates – sharing the blessings of sustenance
Water bottles – providing a basic yet essential need
Chips for the little ones – bringing smiles to children’s faces
Clothing items donated by the public – helping families in need
The joy and appreciation in the eyes of the people we served was a powerful reminder that a small act of kindness can change lives. The warmth of the community, the heartfelt prayers, and the endless gratitude made this day truly special.
