Al Ansaar Outreach and Deli Distribute 790 Hot Dogs to Overport School

This morning (Thursday) marked a significant day for the learners at a school in Overport, as Al Ansaar Outreach, in collaboration with Al Ansaar Deli, distributed 790 hot dogs to the students. This initiative was specially targeted at the school due to its high percentage of indigent learners, with 90 percent of the students coming from underprivileged backgrounds.

The project is part of Al Ansaar’s broader mission to support schools within the community, addressing food insecurity among students. The distribution event brought smiles to many young faces and highlighted the importance of community support in fostering a nurturing educational environment.

One of the organizers stated, “Our goal is to make a tangible difference in the lives of these children. By providing meals, we hope to alleviate some of the daily struggles they face and show them that their community cares.”

Al Ansaar Outreach plans to continue similar initiatives, aiming to reach more schools and support more learners in need. This collaborative effort underscores the power of community-driven support and the positive impact it can have on education and well-being.

Help our community by contributing to our causes.
