On 3rd December 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Al Ansaar Outreach, in collaboration with the Gift of the Givers Foundation, successfully delivered a World Health Day initiative dedicated to improving community access to vital healthcare. The programme, hosted at 207 West Road, Overport, Durban, offered free audiology and optometry testing to residents of the surrounding areas.
The initiative centred on early detection, preventative healthcare, and restoring accessibility to essential services. Attendees received professional hearing and vision screenings conducted by qualified practitioners, ensuring that community members could address concerns that often go unnoticed due to financial or logistical barriers.
This project was more than a medical campaign it was an expression of compassion, solidarity, and shared responsibility. By prioritising community wellness, Al Ansaar Outreach and the Gift of the Givers honoured World Health Day through meaningful service.
