Al Ansaar Outreach Provides Qurbani Meat to Tornado Victims in Tongaat

In a heart-warming gesture coinciding with the celebration of Eid Ul Adha, Al Ansaar’s Outreach team has conducted a significant Qurbani to support the tornado-stricken communities of Tongaat. This effort aims to bring relief and nourishment to those displaced by the recent natural disaster.

The Outreach team successfully sacrificed 26 sheep and two shares of bull, a generous act made possible through the unwavering support of donors and listeners of Radio Al Ansaar. The sacrificial meat will play a crucial role in the provision of hot meals for the affected families.

The freshly slaughtered meat is currently being packed and prepared for delivery to Fairbreeze Hall. Here, it will be cooked and incorporated into nutritious meals, ensuring that the displaced individuals receive hearty and culturally significant sustenance.

In a statement, the Outreach team expressed gratitude for the donations that made this endeavour possible. They also announced plans for any additional Qurbani meat to be delivered to Marianhill, extending the reach of their support beyond Tongaat.

As the team continues to organize the logistics of meat distribution, they are committed to ensuring that all affected families receive the aid they need as the team recently distributed food, clothes, sanitation packs, and non-perishable foods, amongst other items.
