Week 3 of the Al Ansaar Outreach Sunday Feeding Programme once again saw our dedicated team reaching communities in need across Groutville, Shakaskraal, Stanger and Emona.
The team gathered early in the morning at the Solly Manjra’s Cooking Yard, where preparations began with great enthusiasm and teamwork. Large pots of nourishing food were prepared and packed to ensure that families across the various communities would receive warm meals and essential support.
During the distribution, degs of cooked food, food hampers, blankets, bales of chips, water, dates, as well as kurtahs and abayahs were distributed to community members. The smiles, gratitude and heartfelt duas from the recipients served as a reminder of the importance of collective compassion and service.
