AmaZulu Retain KZN Premier’s Cup Title

AmaZulu FC retained the KZN Premier’s Cup after beating Milford FC 2-0 in the final at Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday, 26 July 2026. Earlier in the day, Milford secured their place in the final with a 2-1 victory over Richards Bay FC, while AmaZulu defeated Midlands Wanderers 2-0 on Saturday, 25 July 2026.

AmaZulu controlled the game from the start and took the lead through Mbanjwa before Ngwenya added a second goal to seal the victory. AmaZulu Assistant Coach Vilakazi Sboniso expressed how proud he is for his players “We did well against the teams. What is important is that we are still putting the winning mentality for the players.”

The final whistle sparked celebrations among AmaZulu supporters as the team lifted the trophy.

AmaZulu supporters were delighted with the result. Among them were Mama Doris and Ntobeko Khosi who said the victory gives them confidence ahead of the new season.

“We are incredibly happy they made us happy, and they gave us hope that we will continue being happy into the season.”

“We thank AmaZulu for being the champions of this cup. It was a good tournament.”

The victory gives AmaZulu confidence ahead of the new Betway Premiership season, while Milford will take positives from an impressive run to the final.
