On Sunday, the 6th of July 2025, corresponding with the sacred Day of Ashura, the Al Ansaar Foundation once again stood in unwavering service to humanity. Honouring this deeply significant day in the Islamic calendar marked by reflection, remembrance, and compassion the Al Ansaar team came together to distribute nourishing meals to individuals and communities in need across various locations.
The day commenced with a spirit of unity and dedication as members of the Al Ansaar Outreach Department, along with volunteers and supporters, prepared and delivered hearty meals including Akni and Khitchra traditional dishes that warm the heart and bring people together. These meals reached countless families, elderly individuals, and underprivileged communities, many of whom were deeply moved by the gesture.
At the heart of this initiative was a simple but powerful intention: to uplift others through small acts of kindness and to remind our communities that they are never alone, especially on days as spiritually rich and meaningful as Ashura.
