On the crisp morning of Wednesday, 19th June 2025, at 10:30 am, the Al Ansaar Outreach team embarked on a deeply meaningful visit to the Merebank Jamaat Khana a visit that embodied the true spirit of compassion, community, and care. In partnership with Shaguftah Khan, beloved presenter of Noor-e-Amaal, and Rang-e-Hayaat, the initiative focused on bringing warmth to the women and elderly of the Merebank community during the harsh winter months.
This outreach was more than just a distribution; it was a moment of connection and solidarity with those often forgotten during the colder seasons. Wrapped in heartfelt prayers, kind words, and warm smiles, winter essentials were personally handed to the recipients. For many, these items meant the difference between enduring the cold and finding comfort and relief.
The presence of Shaguftah Khan brought added warmth and encouragement, reminding everyone of the power of faith, hope, and community support. Her words echoed the importance of standing by one another, especially when the nights are cold and the burdens are heavy.
This initiative would not have been possible without the generous contributions of the broader community individuals who chose to give selflessly for the sake of others. To each donor who made this moment possible: your act of kindness has reached hearts far beyond what you may realise.
We urge and encourage everyone to continue supporting this vital cause. Winter is far from over, and there are still many in need. Blankets can still be donated at the Al Ansaar offices. Your small gesture can provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to someone this season.
Let us continue to be the reason someone feels seen, valued, and cared for.
Together, we can spread warmth one blanket, one heart at a time.
