In celebration of World Read Aloud Day, the Al Ansaar Outreach team had the absolute joy of visiting Charles Hugo Primary School and Hillgrove Primary School, spreading the magic of stories, learning, and connection among young minds.
This special initiative was made even more meaningful through our collaboration with Sumaya Khan of School Matters, whose passion for education and youth development continues to inspire and uplift communities. Together, we reminded learners that reading is not just about words on a page it’s about imagination, confidence, and believing in one’s own voice.
The day was filled with bright smiles, eager participation, and a shared love for storytelling. To add an extra layer of warmth, the Al Ansaar Outreach team handed out fresh hotdogs lovingly prepared by our very own Al Ansaar Deli, turning the day into a wholesome experience that nourished both hearts and bodies.
At Al Ansaar Outreach, we believe that investing in education is investing in the future. Moments like these where learning meets care and compassion are what community upliftment is all about. We are grateful to the schools, educators, and partners who welcomed us so warmly and made this day truly memorable.
Together, we read. Together, we shared. Together, we made a difference.
