First Sunday Distribution Brings Relief and Hope to Inanda and Verulam Communities

This past Sunday marked the beginning of a powerful outreach effort as the team set out to
serve communities in Newtown, Inanda (Madrassahs), Bhambayi, Inanda (Madrassahs), and
various suburbs in Verulam, reaching local masaajid and madrassahs with much-needed
support.

From the early hours of the morning, preparation was underway to ensure that every deg
was cooked with care and distributed with dignity. Warm meals were served to beneficiaries
across the different areas, but the support did not end there. Blankets were handed out to
bring comfort during the cooler days, hampers were distributed to assist families with
essential groceries, and water, chips, and dates were shared to ease daily needs. Clothing
items, including abayahs and kurtahs, were also given to those in need, ensuring that both
practical and personal necessities were met.

The atmosphere throughout the distribution was one of unity and sincere intention.
Volunteers worked side by side, embodying the spirit of service and compassion that lies at
the heart of community outreach. Each item distributed represented more than material aid
it reflected the collective generosity of those who chose to give.

A heartfelt JazakAllah to The Capital Group for sponsoring the Week 1 degs, to Atomic
Demolishers for assisting with transportation, and to all anonymous donors and community
members whose contributions made this first Sunday distribution possible. Your support
transforms kindness into meaningful action and brings real impact to the ground.

As the outreach continues, the hope is to reach even more families, strengthen community
ties, and carry forward the spirit of giving in the weeks ahead.

Help our community by contributing to our causes.
