On Thursday, 17th October 2025, the Al Ansaar Outreach Department, in partnership with SAPS and School Matters, hosted its second community soccer tournament at the Asherville Grounds from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The event brought together five spirited teams Reservoir Hills Primary, Resmount Primary, Hillview Primary, and Siripat Lions Rugby Team in a morning filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and unity. The soccer tournament was not just about scoring goals on the field, but about spreading a powerful message: Say No to Bullying, No to Drugs, and Yes to a Positive Future.
In true community spirit, Al Ansaar Outreach sponsored refreshing bottled water from Quench H2O and freshly made hotdogs from our very own Al Ansaar Deli, ensuring that every participant and supporter was well taken care of throughout the day.
