The Al Ansaar Outreach team, in partnership with the Cancer Support Group and Nichal Sarawan from The Breakfast Rush, had the heartfelt privilege of visiting the Oncology Ward at Albert Luthuli Hospital.
Armed with toys collected from our TBR Toy Drive, as well as refreshing fruit packs and water sponsored by Quench H2O, we stepped into the ward hoping to give a little yet we left with so much more. The joy on the children’s faces, their innocent laughter, and the sparkle of hope in their eyes reminded us that kindness has the power to heal hearts, even in the most difficult battles.
Each toy handed over was more than just a gift it was a symbol of love, joy, a burst of happiness, and a reminder to these little warriors that they are not forgotten. The fruit packs and water brought comfort and care, reflecting the love and generosity of every supporter who made this initiative possible.
