Topic; Viral Cucumber Salad
INGREDIENTS:
-1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
-1¹/² tblsp soy sauce
-1 tblsp roasted sesame oil
-1 tsp sugar
-1 clove garlic, grated or 1 tsp of crushed garlic
-1 tblsp of spring onion, thinly sliced
-1 tblsp of sesame seeds
-1 tsp of crushed chilli flakes
METHOD:
1.Place the sliced cucumbers into a medium sized bowl.
2.In a separate small bowl add the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar and garlic then whisk together.
3.Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and toss to combine.
4.Now sprinkle the spring onions, sesame seeds and chilli flakes on top.
5.Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 min then serve chilled.
6.Variation: For a pickled version of the salad, leave in the fridge for 2 hours before serving.
