Child Critically Injured After Fall from Musgrave Bridge in Durban

Durban – Emergency services rushed to the Durban‑bound N3 near Musgrave Road this morning after a child fell from a bridge, sustaining critical injuries.

ALS Paramedics reported that they arrived on scene at approximately 9:30am, where the young patient was found in a life‑threatening condition. Advanced Life Support teams provided urgent medical care before transporting the child to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The exact circumstances surrounding the fall remain unclear. Durban Metro Police attended the scene and have launched an investigation into the incident.

Traffic along the N3 Durban‑bound carriageway was also affected as emergency crews worked to stabilize the child and secure the area.
