Recipe for Tikki Puri, also known as spicey puri

Makes 14 round puris

INGREDIENTS:
-2 cups of white flour
-2 tsp ground green masala
-half tsp turmeric powder
-1 cup water
-1 tbslp oil
-1¹/² tsp salt
-half tsp of cumin seeds

METHOD:
1.Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl.
2.Add the cumin seeds, oil, and green masala and then add water gradually to make a soft dough.
3.Divide the dough into 14 small balls.
4.Roll each ball into puris. Do not roll the balls too thin as they will not puff up when frying.
5.Heat oil in a deep pot over high heat, then fry individual puris until puffy and golden on both sides.
6.Serve hot with green chutney. ENJOY!
