Recipe: Bibi Aysha’s Strawberry & Guava Mocktail
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
– 450 ml strawberry puree
To make strawberry puree:
In a blender, add 16 large strawberries, cut into halves and 8 or 10 tbslp of cold water, then pulse until smooth.
– 240ml guava juice
– 60ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed, or add lemon juice to taste
– honey/white sugar to taste
– cold water as required
Garnish:
– lemon slices, cut thinly
– strawberries, cut into halves
– ice cubes
METHOD:
1.In ablender, add the strawberry puree, guava juice, lemon juice as required, and honey/sugar as required to sweeten, then pulse until you get a smooth drinking consistency.
2.Add cold water if necessary.
3.Serve chilled with ice, lemon slices, and strawberry halves as garnish. ENJOY!
