CHICKEN
HALEEM

INGREDIENTS:
-2 cups pea dhall
-1 cup crushed wheat
-¹/²  cup oil dhall
-500g of 4 in 1  soup mix
-2 tblsp salt

1.Boil all the ingredients together 
for 1 hour till done.
2.Blend with stick blender.

-1 chicken cut into pieces
-2 tsp salt
-1 tblsp ginger garlic masala
-2 tsp chilli powder
-¹/² tsp tumeric powder
-2 tsp dhana jeero
-2 tsp garam masala
-1 tsp chicken  spice
-3 medium-sized tomatoes,  grated
-1 onion, sliced
-¹/⁴ cup oil

1.Braise the onion in oil untill  golden.
2.Add the chicken and spices and allow to braise well.
3.Add the grated tomatoes and cook for 30 minutes or till all the  water  dries out (allow it to get abit caught at bottom of the pot)then mash.

Mix dhalls and  chicken  together.

Add
-2 tsp green chilli paste
-1 tblsp crushed chilles
-1 tblsp salt
-2 tsp chicken spice

1.Add enough  boiling water to make the right consistency.
2.Allow to cook on medium heat.

To braise:
-¹/⁴ cup ghee
-¹/⁴ cup oil
 -3 medium onions, sliced

1.Heat the ghee and oil in a pan.
2.Add the onions and fry till golden .
3.Throw over dhall and stir well.
4.Add more boiling water if needed and allow to cook on low heat for half hour.
5.Salt and chillies can be added according to taste.
6.Garnish with  dhania, green chillies and lemon wedges
