Recipe of the week: Durban Style Fish Curry

INGREDIENTS:
Marinate fresh pieces of fish in any fish masala/marinade
Oil
2 onions
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp methi seeds
1 tsp whole jeera
Curry leaves
1 tsp gharam masala
3 tomatoes liquidized
3 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
1 tsp peri peri masala
1 tsp plain garlic
1 tsp chilli garlic masala
1/4 tsp Tumeric
1 and half tsp salt
1/4 cup brown/red aamli soaked in half cup boiling water
Coriander
METHOD:
1.Make wagaar with oil, onions, mustard seeds, jeera, methi seeds, curry leaves and gharam masala till golden
2.Then add tomatoes, spices and aamli.. Let it cook on med till the oil comes to the top.
3.Place fish in pot with coriander and simmer for 7 – 10 mins on high
4.Serve with rice or makai roti
