Chocolate Lava Mug Cake

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS:
-2 tblsp butter, softened
-2 tblsp boiling water
-¹/⁴ cup castor sugar
-2 tblsp cocoa powder
-¹/⁴ cup self raising flour
-4 squares of any brown chocolate of your choice

METHOD:
1.In a mug, add the boiling water and the butter then stir until the butter melts.
2.Now add the sugar and continue stirring.
3.Add the cocoa powder & self raising flour then stir until well combined.
4.Press the 4 squares of chocolate down into the batter in the centre of the mug.
5.Place the mug into the microwave oven for 1 minute on high power then use a cake tester to see if the batter is cooked. If not, then cook in 10 second bursts until the cake tester comes out clean. Do not overcook.
6.Leave to rest for 1 minute in the microwave oven before eating.
7.Enjoy as is or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
