INGREDIENTS:
Tools:
-Canvas board with easel, any size canvas
-Cling Wrap
-Palette knife, can also use a dessertspoon to make a design

Cheese base
-Cream Cheese of your choice. Amount depends on the size of your canvas. I used 1 tub of sweet chilli cream cheese and 1 tub of plain cream cheese that I mixed with some roasted red pepper pesto

Garnish/toppings:
-cherry tomatoes, cut into thin slices
-Sweet and tangy gherkins, cut into thin slices
-Carrot ribbons rolled into flowers
-Black and green olives cut into halves
-Chives
-Coriander leaves
-Red Jalapeno peppers cut into thin slices
-Spring onions, cut into thin rings
-paprika
-mixed herbs
-mixture of fine nuts & seeds

You can also use edible flowers, nuts, pomegranite rubies and herbs like parsley, rosemary, thyme.

-Crackers and bread sticks of your choice arranged on a platter or wooden serving board.

METHOD:
1.Cling wrap the canvas in two layers.
2.Spread one flavor of cream cheese across the top of the canvas using a palette knife.
3.Spread the second flavored cream cheese under the first layer and alternate until the whole canvas board is covered in cream cheese. The cream cheese base should not be evenly spread.
4.Get creative and decorate using the veggies, herbs and spices to make flowers or any design that looks colourful & appetizing. I made flowers using sliced gherkins, sliced cherry tomatoes, sliced red Jalapeno peppers for colour and a kick in flavor and carrot ribbons rolled into balls. I used chives as stems for the flowers and coriander leaves to create a plant like effect on my edible art portraying a flower garden.
5.I arranged a layer of mixed nuts and seeds at the bottom of the canvas to resemble the sand in the garden.
6.I sprinkled paprika and mixed herbs for added flavor and colour.
7.Arrange the canvas upright against the easel and serve with a variety of crackers and breadsticks.
8.Eat directly from the canvas by scooping the cheese and veggies with your cracker biscuit.

ENJOY!!!
